Maybe somebody else's foolish decisions caused you to experience wrenching heartache and pain. You must stop dwelling on it. Let the past be the past. Forgive the person who caused you the trouble and start afresh right where you are today. If you continue to dwell on those past disappointments, you will block God's blessings in your life today. It's simply not worth it.
"For if you forgive men when they sine against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." (Matthew 6:14-15)
